HVLS Industrial Fans Wind Power Levels

HVLS (High Volume-Low Speed) industrial fans are known for their high air volume and low speed characteristics. These fans are designed to push large volumes of air through large spaces to improve ventilation, lower temperatures and increase comfort. The amount of air power is usually measured by the airflow (volume of air moving), usually in cubic meters per minute (m³/min).

For example, the 7.3 meter diameter HVLS industrial fan is capable of generating an air volume of nearly about 15,000 m³/min at a maximum speed of 55 rpm. Tested in a laboratory environment, such a large industrial fan can cover a radius of up to 22 meters and can cover an area of about 1,500 square meters.
