Robust cast‑iron pump body The pump body is made of cast iron with high structural strength and impact resistance, suitable for rough working conditions such as outdoor sites and construction sites. Fitted with stainless‑steel impeller and AISI 304 stainless‑steel shaft, it delivers rust‑resistance for wetted parts and reduces secondary water contamination. Equipped with C&U bearings for smooth, low‑noise operation and extended service life.
  2. Copper‑wound motor with built‑in thermal protection Pure‑copper motor windings ensure good conductivity and low heat generation. Single‑phase motors are integrated with thermal protectors that cut off power automatically under overload or overheating to prevent motor burnout. Insulation class F, IPX4 protection rating against splashing water.
  3. Excellent self‑priming performance Jet‑assisted self‑priming design with maximum self‑priming suction height up to 9 meters. It can draw groundwater directly, and a foot valve is unnecessary under many operating conditions for convenient water intake.

Routine Maintenance

  1. Periodic pipeline inspection Check inlet and outlet pipes and connections monthly for water seepage or air leakage. Air leakage on suction lines will directly degrade self‑priming capacity. Inspect sealing gaskets for aging and dripping.
  2. Sediment protection & cleaning Install a pre‑filter if the water source contains sediment, to prevent hard particles from abrading stainless‑steel impellers and pump shafts. Open the pump chamber regularly to flush out sand and debris. Note: Although cast‑iron pump bodies feature high strength, long‑term exposure to sediment will accelerate wear of internal flow passages.
  3. Motor maintenance Keep motor housing clean and well‑ventilated without dust accumulation. Inspect power cables regularly for aging or damage, and avoid standing water on motor surfaces.
  4. Long‑term storage Completely drain water from pump cavity when the pump will sit idle for long periods. Prevent frost cracking in low‑temperature environments. Store in dry and ventilated location.
  5. Bearing inspection Conduct annual maintenance and listen for abnormal bearing noise. Replace C&U bearings promptly when abnormal noise occurs to avoid pump‑shaft wear.

Usage Notes

  1. Medium requirements Only for clean‑water transportation. Do NOT pump highly‑corrosive fluids, heavily‑sandy sewage or oily liquids. Sediment will rapidly wear impellers and mechanical seals. Liquid temperature shall not exceed 60 ℃.
  2. Power supply & motor protection Keep voltage fluctuation within ±10 % of rated value. When thermal protection triggers shutdown, allow the motor to cool down naturally; do not repeatedly power on forcibly.
  3. Self‑priming operation Fill the pump chamber with priming water before first startup. Prolonged dry‑running is strictly prohibited, as dry‑run will quickly damage mechanical seals.
  4. Pressure limit System working pressure must not exceed 8 bar to avoid damage to pump housing and connected piping.
  5. Installation requirements Mount the pump horizontally. Minimize pipe elbows to reduce flow resistance. The suction pipeline must remain fully air‑tight; air leaks will result in failure to draw water.
  6. Electrical safety Reliable earthing is mandatory. IPX4 rating only defends against splashing water. Never rinse motor and electrical components directly with water. Apply extra waterproof protection in humid environments.
  7. Ambient‑temperature limit Maximum allowable working ambient temperature is 40 ℃. High‑temperature surroundings accelerate motor aging.
  8. Additional reminder for cast‑iron pump body Check external anti‑rust condition of cast‑iron pump body periodically. Apply simple protective treatment for humid‑environment operation to avoid outer‑surface rusting.
