Product Features
- Compact structure and small footprint The pump features compact overall dimensions and requires little installation space. Most pump bodies are constructed from cast iron with high strength and impact resistance, suitable for installation in confined spaces. It delivers relatively high pressure with low‑flow output, achieving higher head than standard centrifugal pumps at the same power rating.
- Brass impeller & AISI 304 stainless‑steel shaft The brass impeller offers good wear resistance and anti‑corrosion performance, avoiding rust‑induced water contamination. The AISI 304 stainless‑steel pump shaft improves corrosion resistance and extends service life. Fitted with C&U bearings for smooth operation and low vibration.
- Copper‑wound motor with built‑in thermal protection Pure‑copper motor windings generate less heat and provide high efficiency. Single‑phase motors integrate a thermal protector that automatically cuts off power under overload, locked‑rotor or overheating conditions to prevent motor burnout. Insulation class F, IPX4 protection rating against splashing water.
- High pressure with low flow rate As a peripheral (vortex) pump, it is characterized by high head and small flow, ideal for applications requiring high water pressure with limited water consumption. Maximum self‑priming suction height reaches up to 8 meters.

Routine Maintenance
- Check pipeline sealing performance Inspect inlet/outlet pipes and sealing gaskets monthly. Air leakage on suction lines directly reduces suction capacity and causes failure to draw water. Replace aged gaskets in a timely manner.
- Sediment protection for water source The narrow flow passages inside the peripheral pump impeller are highly sensitive to sediment and impurities. A filter must be installed on the suction side to prevent particles from jamming the impeller. Clean the filter screen periodically.
- Motor maintenance Keep the motor housing clean and well‑ventilated, free of dust buildup. Inspect power cables regularly for damage and avoid standing water on motor surfaces.
- Long‑term shutdown storage Drain all water inside the pump cavity when the pump will remain idle. Fully drain water under low‑temperature conditions to prevent frost cracking of the cast‑iron pump body. Store in a dry and ventilated location.
- Inspect bearings and abnormal noise Perform annual maintenance. Listen for friction noise during operation. Replace bearings promptly when abnormal noise occurs to avoid pump‑shaft wear.
Usage Notes
- Medium limitations Only for pumping clean fresh water. Do NOT pump sediment‑laden sewage, corrosive fluids or oily liquids. Fine sediment can easily jam the impeller, resulting in seizure or motor burnout. Liquid temperature shall not exceed 50 °C.
- Dry‑running prohibited Fill the pump chamber with priming water before startup. Dry‑running without water is strictly forbidden, as it will rapidly damage the mechanical seal.
- Power‑supply requirements Keep operating voltage within ±10 % of rated value. When thermal protection triggers shutdown, allow the motor to cool naturally; do not repeatedly force power‑on.
- Pressure limit System working pressure must not exceed 8 bar to prevent damage to pump housing and piping.
- Installation requirements Mount the pump horizontally. Keep suction piping as short as possible and minimize elbows to reduce flow resistance. The suction pipeline must remain completely air‑tight.
- Electrical safety Reliable earthing is mandatory. IPX4 rating only protects against splashing water. Never rinse the motor and wiring parts directly with water. Apply extra waterproof protection in humid environments.
- Anti‑rust for cast‑iron pump body Periodically inspect outer‑surface rust when operating in humid environments. Apply anti‑rust treatment if necessary.
- Working‑condition reminder This pump is designed for low‑flow high‑head duties. It is not suitable for large‑volume water transportation. Select standard centrifugal pumps or jet pumps for high‑flow requirements.
