Product Features, Application Scenarios, Maintenance and Operation Precautions

1. Product Features

  1. Material Advantages The wetted parts are made of stainless steel, featuring rust resistance and tolerance to mild corrosion, which prevents secondary contamination of conveyed fluid. Its smooth surface is less prone to scaling, suitable for delivery of clean fluid. Adopting a horizontal structure, the pump has a stable center of gravity with low vibration during operation. Designed with series-connected multi-stage impellers, it can deliver high head at medium flow rate, different from single-stage pumps.
  2. Performance Characteristics It provides stable flow and continuous, steady pressure, and can handle clean water and weakly corrosive media. It covers a wide power range from 0.37kW to 3kW for flexible model selection. Equipped with mechanical seal, it achieves extremely low leakage.
  3. Installation & Operation The horizontal base allows fixed foundation installation and convenient disassembly for maintenance. It supports both 220V single-phase and 380V three-phase power supply. It runs quietly and can work continuously for long hours. With compact size, it occupies smaller space compared with traditional heavy-duty multi-stage pumps.
  4. Other Advantages Optimized hydraulic model delivers relatively high operating efficiency and lower energy consumption. Precision stamped stainless steel impellers are lightweight and ensure smooth start-stop response.

2. Application Scenarios

  1. Water Supply Boosting Building secondary water supply, domestic water boosting for buildings, residential water supply systems, roof water tank pressurization.
  2. Industrial Water Purification & Pure Water Pure water machines, RO reverse osmosis equipment, water purification production lines, clean water transportation in food and beverage industry.
  3. HVAC Systems Makeup water circulation for central air conditioning, boiler feed water, pressurization and water replenishment for heating systems.
  4. Light Industry Transportation of non-corrosive process water in food, pharmaceutical and daily chemical industries; water supply for cleaning equipment and spray systems.
  5. Other Uses Garden high-pressure spraying, small water treatment equipment, delivery of mildly corrosive dilute solutions (such as low-concentration weak acid and salt solutions).

Limitations: Not applicable for strongly corrosive media, sewage with abundant solid particles, or high-viscosity liquids.

3. Routine Maintenance

  1. Pre-start Inspection Check pipes, valves and flanges for leakage. Ensure the pump chamber is fully filled with liquid; dry running is prohibited. Verify motor wiring and matching voltage. Rotate the shaft manually to confirm no rotor jamming.
  2. Operational Inspection Monitor operating current and outlet pressure, compare with nameplate parameters. Watch for vibration and abnormal noise; shut down immediately once unusual sound occurs. Check dripping at mechanical seal: slight dripping serves for cooling, while continuous heavy leakage indicates seal damage.
  3. Periodic Maintenance
  • Monthly: Tighten anchor bolts and pipe fixtures; clean dust outside the pump.
  • Every 3~6 months: Inspect mechanical seal and replace it when necessary; check bearing lubrication condition.
  • Annually: Disassemble to inspect wear of impeller and pump casing; correct coaxiality; conduct insulation test.
  1. Long-term Shutdown Storage Drain all liquid inside the pump to avoid rusting and freezing cracking in winter. Clean the pump body; protect the motor from dust and moisture.

4. Operation Precautions

  1. Dry running is strictly forbidden, as lack of medium inside pump chamber will quickly burn out the mechanical seal.
  2. Medium temperature shall not exceed the allowable range of the pump. Liquids containing hard particles such as sand and rust are not allowed.
  3. Inlet pressure cannot be lower than the minimum suction pressure to prevent cavitation, which will rapidly damage impellers once generated.
  4. Start-up sequence: Fully open inlet valve → Fill pump and vent air → Start motor → Slowly open outlet valve. Shutdown sequence: Close outlet valve first, then stop the motor.
  5. Excessive fluctuation of power supply voltage may overheat and burn the motor.
  6. When ambient temperature is below 0℃ in winter, drain all liquid inside pump after shutdown to prevent freeze cracking.
  7. Do not keep running for a long time with outlet valve fully closed.
  8. Cut off power supply and release pipeline pressure before maintenance to prevent accidental fluid ejection.
