Permanent Magnet DC Submersible Electric Pump (hereinafter referred to as the electric pump). It consists of three parts: water pump, sealing assembly and motor.
The motor is installed at the upper part of the pump. It is a permanent magnet DC motor with a built-in controller, supporting operation under three voltage levels. It features energy efficiency and high performance, and is equipped with protection functions including dry-run protection, locked-rotor protection, low-voltage protection and over-temperature protection for safer operation.
The water pump section is at the lower part, adopting a centrifugal impeller and volute structure. Dynamic sealing is applied between the pump and motor, while O-type oil-resistant rubber seals are used for all fixed spigot sealing positions.
This series of pumps features compact size and light weight. It is mainly used for small farmland irrigation, garden watering, flower and vegetable irrigation, and water intake from shallow wells and small streams in the field. It easily meets irrigation requirements and is convenient to carry. It can be matched with battery vehicles for use in areas without convenient power supply.

1. Product Features

  1. Power System: Adopts a permanent magnet DC motor mounted on the upper section of the pump, with a built-in controller. It supports three DC voltage options: 48V / 60V / 72V, compatible with battery power supply. High conversion efficiency ensures energy saving and low power consumption.
  2. Multi-protection Functions: Integrated with dry-run protection, locked-rotor protection, low-voltage protection and over-temperature protection. It automatically shuts down in case of idling, impeller jamming, insufficient battery voltage or motor overheating to prevent pump burnout and improve operational safety.
  3. Pump Structure: The lower pump unit features centrifugal impeller and volute construction. Dynamic sealing is applied between the motor and pump. O-type oil-resistant rubber seals are fitted on all fixed spigot joints for reliable sealing and water resistance.
  4. Portable Design: Compact size and light weight for easy manual handling. No heavy mounting base required, enabling highly flexible mobile water intake operations.
  5. Flexible Power Supply: No mains AC power needed. It can work directly with battery vehicles, freeing operation from grid power restrictions.

2. Application Scenarios

  • Small farmland irrigation: watering vegetable plots, orchards and cash crops.
  • Landscaping: irrigation for green seedlings and flowers.
  • Field water extraction: fetching water from shallow wells, ponds and small streams.
  • Operations in off-grid areas: mountainous regions, remote farmlands and sites without mains electricity, powered by storage batteries.

3. Routine Maintenance

  1. After use, lift the pump out of water, clean the pump casing and water inlet with fresh water, and remove weeds, sediment and debris tangled around the impeller to avoid blockage and corrosion.
  2. Regularly inspect the power cable for damage or cracking, and check terminal connectors for oxidation and loosening to prevent electric leakage.
  3. Examine O-ring rubber seals periodically. Replace hardened, cracked or leaking seals promptly to stop water ingress into the motor chamber.
  4. Before long-term storage, fully clean the pump and air-dry it in a dry, ventilated place. Do not store it outdoors. Avoid squeezing the power cable during storage.
  5. Test protection functions regularly to verify controller performance. Inspect battery wiring to guarantee stable power supply.

4. Operation Precautions

  1. No dry running: The pump must be fully submerged before startup. Dry-run protection is only emergency safeguard and shall not be relied on for prolonged idling.
  2. Medium requirement: Only for clean water pumping. Do not pump sewage, muddy water or water with large amounts of sand, stones and fibres, which will abrade the impeller and cause jamming.
  3. Power matching: Wire strictly in accordance with the three voltage grades of 48/60/72V. Never operate above rated voltage. The battery capacity shall match pump power. When low-voltage protection activates, recharge the battery timely instead of forcing continuous operation.
  4. Submersion requirement: Do not bury the pump in silt. Place the water inlet in clear water to avoid silt suction and impeller jamming.
  5. Pre-start inspection: Check cable integrity and sealing condition before each startup. Cut off power immediately and retrieve the pump for troubleshooting if abnormal noise, heavy vibration or frequent shutdown occurs during running.
  6. Handling protection: Do not lift the pump by pulling the power cord during transportation to prevent internal wire breakage.
