Product Features
The sewage cutting pump is a submersible sewage pump specially designed for wastewater containing impurities, fibers and sludge. Compared with ordinary sewage pumps, its outstanding cutting‑grinding function effectively solves common problems such as winding, clogging and high failure rate of conventional pumps.
- Powerful cutting & anti‑clogging performance Equipped with heavy‑duty stainless steel cutting cutter, it can shred plastic bags, cloth strips, hair, ropes, plant fibers and soft sundries, fundamentally preventing pump jamming and ensuring smooth water discharge.
- High wear‑resistance for long service life Adopts anti‑winding screw‑type impeller with wide unobstructed flow‑passage. It delivers excellent wear resistance for long‑term pumping of sewage mixed with fine sediment and particles, resisting abrasion and sediment accumulation.

- Dry‑running without water is strictly forbidden
Routine Maintenance
- Clear foreign objects on pump regularly Inspect cutting cutter and impeller every 1‑3 months. Remove tangled fibers, residues and sediment to keep cutting and water‑passage unobstructed.
- Check power cable & sealing conditions Regularly examine cables for aging, cracking and damage. Verify cable joints to prevent electric leakage and short‑circuit faults.
- Inspect mechanical seal assembly Replace worn mechanical seals in time if water seepage, reduced flow or abnormal noise occurs after long‑time service.
- Clean pump housing Wash off sludge and dirt accumulated on pump casing for good heat dissipation, to avoid overheat shutdown.
- Storage for long‑term idle period Rinse pump thoroughly, dry it and store in cool dry ventilated location. Do not leave the pump sitting submerged in sewage when out‑of‑service, to prevent rusting and seizure.
Precautions for Operation
- Never run the pump dry The pump must be fully immersed during operation. Dry‑running will rapidly damage sealing components and burn out the motor.
- Avoid hard bulky materials Although fitted with cutting mechanism, stones, metal blocks, concrete chunks and other hard objects shall not be pumped, as they will damage cutter and impeller.
- Power‑supply check before startup Confirm matching supply voltage and proper earthing. Prevent motor burnout caused by unstable voltage or phase loss.
- Avoid frequent start‑stop cycles Allow minimum 3‑5‑minute interval between successive start‑stop operations, to protect motor from inrush‑current damage.
- Elevate pump in silty‑muddy bottom Mount the pump on support base if working on heavy silt ground. Prevent heavy sediment suction leading to clogging and accelerated impeller wear.
- Power‑off inspection upon abnormal conditions Cut off power supply immediately if abnormal noise, heavy vibration, no water output, tripping or leakage appears. Do not keep running a faulty pump.
